The course is prepared according to the STCW 95' as amended Code B VIII/2 Part 3-1, IMO Model course 1.22 ‘Ship Simulator and Bridge Teamwork’

as per contract agreement with the Company
At the end of the course, the seafarer will:
*understand BTM; near miss, incidents and accidents
*be able to use effective communication methods, perception, inquisitive technique, active listening, team balance, assertiveness and flexibility
*understand procedures for safe navigation
*understand bridge procedures and principles and practice of planning
*be able to prepare and execute a detailed passage plan
*be aware of the necessity and value of effective response to navigational emergencies
Entry standards - The training is for masters, chief and watchkeeping officers with relevant seagoing experience on mentioned positionse.
Training equipment: Full Mission Bridge Simulator Polaris, Kongsbers AS, DNV approved
Specific Company procedures, orders,checklists, etc are used within the training. Specific simulator scenarios and case study are developed and trained in compliance with the Company training needs.
