How to book BMTC course

 
General terms and conditions for trainees enrolment
      The conditions below  settle  relations between BMTC and its potential customers.
      These conditions are in force from 01.10.2013 and are mandatory for all individual trainees.
Service description
1.1. BMTC carries out training courses in accordance with the national and international requirements to the seafarers training,  VQ courses, licensed by the National Agency for Professional Education and Training, training developed on request of shipowners and manning agents, language and computer skills development courses mainly.
1.2. BMTC consults the trainees for course type, national and international requirements, course duration  and fees and specific entry requirements.
2. Course booking
2.1. Booking can be made in person, by telephone, or via e-mail.
2.2.The trainee is considered as 'booked' after supplying all personal data to the 'Training and HR Department' and after advanced course fee payment of the total course amount. The trainee is considered as 'booked' also after payment the part of the course fee, at least: 
         А) for prep courses for upgrading maritime competency, BridgeTeam & Resources Management, Еngine Team & Rescources Management LCHS, MOMAM, ECDIS,etc - at least 200 BGN.
          B) for the rest courses – at least 50 BGN.
The advanced payment is considered as a guarantee for the trainee course paricipation.
2.3.The courses start after minimum number of trainees enrolment.
2.4.After final confirmation for trainee course participation, and in case of advance payment of the course fee, the rest of the course fee is due not later than a day before the scheduled starting course date.
 
3. Payment
 Payment is made at the cashier desk at BMTC or in bank accounts of the BMTC:

3.1.The advance payment is not reimbursed to the trainee in case of his absence at the scheduled starting date of the course, about which he was duly informed.
3.2. In case of trainee' refusal to attend the training and after respective informing of the Training & HR Department at least 5 days in advance of the scheduled course date, 50 % of the advance payment is reimbursed to the trainee.
3.3.  In case of the course date postponement due to unsufficient number of trainees enrolled or in case of force major, the advance payment is reimbursed to the trainee in full.
3.4.  In  case of course postponement from the trainee side, due to illness, accident, case, employment by the shipowner, (certified by document), etc, the trainee informs the Training &HR Department and is allowed to attend the next course.
 4. Arguments settlement
     BMTC replies in written to all complaints in 2-weeks after it receipt at BMTC secretary office.
   Arguments between BMTC and trainees in regards to the above General Terms & Conditions are settled via direct negotiations between the two parties.
       For non-mentioned in General conditions circumstances, the requirements of the Obligations and Contracts Law and current Civil Law are applied.
